Tanya Venter is an advocate of the High Court and a member of the Johannesburg Bar. Previously the CEO of Tokiso, Tanya remains a Director of Tokiso and on their panel of dispute resolvers as an arbitrator, mediator, trainer, and facilitator, and has conducted a wide range of processes. Tanya sits on the Board for the Ombudsman for Banking Services and also chairs the Environmental Monitoring Committee at the Medupi Power Station. Tanya is a Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) accredited commercial mediator. She is part of the Mediator Training faculty for Conflict Dynamics. Tanya was previously Vice President of the South African Society of Labour Law (SASLAW), and the President of the Gauteng Chapter. She previously sat on the National Dispute Settlement Practitioners Council, University of Stellenbosch. Tanya has also served on the panel of mediators for the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) for the last two national and local government elections. Tanya is based in Johannesburg.
